Yepun and the South Celestial Pole

Taken: 2012-05-08, 06:26 UT
Place: Paranal Observatory, II Región, Chile
Exposure: 867 captures of 15'', ISO-800, f/4.5, 18-55 mm lens
Camera: Canon EOS Rebel T3.
Comments: This multi-exposure composition portrays the South celestial pole behind the Kueyen telescope (UT4) in the VLT complex at Paranal Observatory, during moonlight (a single frame was used to display the telescope without the accumulated movement).
